HOLA FRIENDS!!

I feel like its been forever!! But life has been so great! First of all Eric and I had our 8 month anniversary. Funny story about how it happened. I was in the waiting room at my work, waiting for Eric to get off. (As many of you know i get off before Eric but to save on gas i wait for him to get off) and i got chatting up with one of the people there. He asked me how long Eric and I had been married, i went to do the math and realized it was the 13th! I just can't believe how amazing life has been since i have married this incredible man! I am insanely lucky to have him in my life! 

We started our new house rules (so to speak) where if i cook, eric does the dishes. and if eric cooks, i do the dishes. It is going so well! i wouldn't be ashamed of my house if any of you just decided to stop by. Today i did some deep cleaning. I am exhausted but i love the feeling of sitting down and knowing the place is SO clean! 

Eric and i celebrated my 20th birthday since the last blog post. we celebrated it the whole week! on tuesday we went to tucanos, it was SO good! we walked away so full. then we walked around gateway and just had a good night enjoying each others company. Eric refuses to go and play in the singing fountains at gateway with me. but one day i will be going :) On my birthday he woke me up, and we laid in bed for awhile, this is great because Eric works every saturday, and we have early morning church on sunday, so to just lay there and have time with the 2 of us was wonderful. Then we got up and started getting ready.  We went to the ZOO!!! I love the ZOO!! we went from 9-1. it was GLORIOUS! we watched the bird show. I am pretty sure i had seen it before but i didn't remember it. as the birds came swooping over my head i was just in shock! it was so much fun!! The lego's are at the zoo now so it was fun to see those around! We had a great time, after that we had a BBQ at my parents with my family, we played a game of telestrations. and just had a great time. My aunt posted on facebook "welcome to a new decade" and i can't wait to see what this decade has in store!!

On the 7th i took the day off work and got to babysit my nephew! we had so much fun together! i tired him out and then got to play some more, Morgan and i had a great time together! we soaked our feet in 1/4 c. Listerine 1/4 c. vinegar and 1/2 c. warm water and cleaned the dead skin cells off of our feet. IT WORKED (it was something we got off of pintrest and decided to try) Morgan helped me get all dolled up :) and i went home to join eric for a family dinner.

we had plans to go to California Pizza kitchen with the petersons :) I just love my in-laws to be honest! We were sitting at dinner waiting for our drinks when Mike and Nelci showed up and joined us! it was so great!! I hadn't seen them since the wedding (i think) it was so wonderful to spend some time with them! we also had a BBQ with them on sunday. 

Family Dinner

Eric is leaving me again for a trip out to Oregon! this time he is going out with my mom and dad and the truck to get the bike. It will be nice for them to get to know each other. but i will miss them. I have plans with my sisters and i just can't wait (it will be nice to hang with the fam) not that eric will stop me but he will be having quality time :) 

I teach sunday by myself (again). I am teaching it on the 10 lepers (probably not spelled right...) and how the 1 comes back and says thank you. i am going to make cookies and hand them out at the beginning of my lesson and count how many kids say thank you. I am pretty excited it!

June :)

Where is this year going? i can't believe it is already June! It seems like just yesterday we were starting the new year and now its half way done! Its been such a great beginning i can't wait to see what comes from the rest of the year.

May was such a great month! I love how Eric and i continue to learn and grow everyday! we learn something about each other. I have learned that we need to go to bed earlier because once we lay down to go to bed Eric gets in a silly mood and wants to tickle me! i have been working for a full month again. I forgot how exhausting it can be! I wake up tired and go to bed dead! My goal is once a week take a time out for me, do my nails and toes, and just focus on giving myself attention and see if that helps. As well as going to bed earlier. 

Well there really isn't anything new for Eric and I. Eric took his trip out to Oregon, unfortunately the bike didn't take the trip back with him, I drove back up to Pocotello to pick him up. I left in plenty of time to get there before him, however he beat me. Pulling up and seeing him standing there I felt complete again! I had missed him so much and i wasn't going to let him out of my sights again! It was so great to be reunited with him and to have him back in my daily life :) 

Our most recent Date Night was hiking Ensign Peak. I just love the view from up there! Looking over the Salt Lake Valley. I can't help but wonder if this is what Brigham Young pictured when he said "this is the right place" My Favorite time to see it is at night with all the city lights. But i hadn't done the hike in so long, we went after dinner. so it was still light. but i loved it! I told Eric it was an easy hike, but as we got started i realized my memory of the hike put it as easy, IT WAS HARD! lol!! not really but i was exhausted afterwards. 

We also tried to go see a movie at the drive-in's. It was a Saturday night so we left in plenty of time to make it there and wait in the long lines. We get up to the front and i look and said "um Eric did we bring cash because this is cash only." well we didn't see a movie at the drive-in's. We went to Blockbuster (yes they still have some!!!) and rented a couple of movies to watch! It wasn't the night we had planed but we still had fun :)

So i realized i am always talking about how Eric and I work together and how much we love it! but its come to my attention i have never mentioned what we do. So my title is BCC Assistant. I have no idea what it stands for, but i do a little bit of everything. I am that annoying person that calls you and takes a survey about our company (for part of the time) I also do paper work to get titles for cars. (i REALLY enjoy this part) Every other saturday i am the morning receptionist. As well as through the week as they need me. I have run our shuttle a couple of times. And i help our fleet salesman deliver cars. I really enjoy what i do as well as working with the people i work for. I get off at either 1 or 3 depending on the week. So waiting until Eric gets off i do a variety of things. I mostly sit in our service room and watch netflix or something else on my laptop. Our Credit Union is down the street so i walk over there sometimes. The Bountiful temple is really close and i have said that i am going to go there. but i haven't done that yet (maybe i will today) 
Eric is a Lube/Tire guy. He is branching out and doing other jobs as well. He really likes working here but comes home exhausted too! It is so fun to get to take our lunch together. We have found a few parks to go to and we will sit and eat and talk. Or go back to the car and listen to our book on CD/ Eric falls asleep.

We celebrated my nephews birthday on monday! i can't believe he is already 1!! He is such a cutie! on wednesday we went up to Logan for my cousins graduation and took Tyce to Willow Park, there is a little zoo there. He was so cute chasing a peacock around. signing please to it all the time! The cutest thing is Tyce saying please. He will sign it all the time! the only problem is guessing what he wants then. When we were leaving the graduation we had to call grandpa to sign the BYU cougar fight song. Tyce was crying up a storm and grandpa is really good at calming him down. So he sang and tyce calmed down. we got off the phone with dad and tyce looks at me and signs "please" Broke my heart! You can tell that Tyce LOVES grandpa! 

So Eric and i going to start a new schedule, like i mentioned before when i come home from work i am usually exhausted so the last thing i want to do is cook or clean. But since we have our budget we are working on not eating out as much. So if Eric is making dinner, i will have a chore to do, and if I am Making dinner the Eric will be doing a Chore. this way one person isn't sitting on the couch while the other is busy cleaning/cooking. If we make a calender and actually follow through with this i think it is going to be a great idea!

We are also trying to get better at budgeting and following the budget. If anyone has any great idea's we would love to hear them and try them out! 

So about a month ago, Eric and I were called as Primary teachers. :) I LOVE kids and was super excited. We have 8-11 and our class size varies. we have had as little as 3 and most 8. I just have to do a little chuckle because since we have had our calling i have taught 3 lessons by myself and 1 with Eric. The first week Eric got sick so i went and taught. The second week we taught together, the 3 Eric was in Oregon and the 4th Eric was sick. I am excited for when we can teach together :) He is feeling better so tomorrow should go back to both of us!
